As the economy continues to get rainy, hot designer items in thrift shop with half the price isn't really a bargain if it's not covered by your budget.

But if your brave enough to comb through castoff you will find more long-lasting items with high quality in second hand stores.

The good thing about the market system is that it creates a consensus between a provider of a product of the service or product and the consumer. Nobody is in full control over what price will the product or service be worth.

Sadly, this is not the always the case. Prices are pre-set. So what do you do? Haggle, of course!

Save More with Haggling

Sainsbury's reports that motorist are losing around £400 million annually for not haggling that could've save an estimated average of £1,468 per individual.

Nineteen percent of prospected car buyers between September up to February will not barter on the price while 60 percent are prepared to haggle hard just for a lower price.

This is one of the best time to haggle over the price you pay with the current economic situation, according to head of Sainsbury's loans, Steven Baillie.
